Online applications are invited from the genuine citizens of Bangladesh for the temporary appointment of “Assistant Engineer” in the revenue sector under the Bangladesh Electricity Development Board under the following conditions.
Eligible candidates will be recruited on a full temporary basis against the existing vacancies of Assistant Engineers in various establishments under the Board. For this, they have to participate in the written and oral examinations prescribed by the board and pass.
They will participate in various training and other programs prescribed by the board within two years after appointment.
Based on the results achieved in the said program, they may be considered by the Board for regular recruitment against the vacancies of Assistant Engineers as per prevailing rules/regulations.
The age limit for the mentioned post is 18-30 years as of 05-09-2022.
The upper age limit is 32 years in the case of sons and daughters of freedom fighters/martyred freedom fighters and the disabled.
The upper age is relaxable up to 40 years in the case of departmental candidates of the Power Development Board.
The online application will start on 05 September 2022 at 10 AM.
The last date to submit the application form is 02 October 2022 at 5 PM.
Candidates who have obtained a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from abroad should have an appropriate certificate of equivalence from the University Grants.
