Land Administration Training Centre (LATC) Job Circular 2022 has been published this month on the online job portal.

Background of Land Administration Training Centre (LATC): “Land Administration Training Program” was initiated on 12 September 1987 for the purpose of training officials related to Land Management. At first, its activities were accomplished at Gonobhaban, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka for 1987-88, 1988-89 years.

Later, this program was extended for 1989-90 and 1990-91 financial years with a cost of Tk. 2 (two) crore and functioned at Land Reforms Board, Ministry of Land, 141-143, Motijheel C/A, Dhaka. The tenure of the program was re-extended for the next 1991-92 and 1992-93 financial years.

By this time the government has realized the importance of training for the employees engaged in different land management tires and has taken the decision to hand over the Land Administration Training Program to the revenue sector.

In response to this decision ‘Land Administration Training Program’ was re-named as ‘Land Administration Training Centre’ being transferred into the revenue sector from 1st June 1993 and its activities are functioning at 3/A, Nilkhet, Katabon, Dhaka.

Recognizing the urgency of land-related training, the present government has taken the plan to set up a building for the Land Administration Training Centre with a foundation of 12- levels.

In 2013, Land Administration Training Centre started its journey of conducting training with a large dimension in its own building.
