General Ansar is one of the affiliates of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force.
At present, 52 thousand 960 trained general Ansar members are working in 4 thousand 963 organizations in the country. A notification was published in Prothom Alo last Saturday to select only male candidates as general Ansar.
Eligibility of application:
According to the notification, in order to take training as a general Ansar, the candidates have to pass a minimum Junior School Certificate (JSC) or equivalent examination. Must be between 18-30 years of age. May 15, 2022 minimum of 18 years, and May 21, 2022 maximum of 30 years.
Height 5 feet 4 inches in terms of physical fitness. Chest size 30/32 inches. Sight 6/7. Candidates will not be selected in the preliminary selection if there is an incurable disease.
How to apply: Applications must be completed by clicking on the ‘General Ansar (Male) Basic Training Application’ link on the Ansar and Village Defense Forces website (www.ansarvdp.gov.bd) from the Union Digital Center (UDC) or any online computer.
Online registration has already started. The application will run until May 21. The online registration fee of Rs. 200 / – has to be submitted through bKash / Rocket / MobiCash, etc. displayed on the application portal, which is non-refundable. Once the registration is complete, the entry form must be printed and saved online and must be displayed at the time of selection.
Interested candidates should be present at the scheduled date and place for preliminary selection. Candidates will be selected in four ranges across the country. The ranges are Rangpur, Barisal, Rajshahi, and Comilla.
Convenience: If you join at the end of the training, you will get a monthly allowance of Tk 18,200 in plain areas and Tk 16,400 in hilly areas. Two festival allowances of Tk 9,650 will be given every year. Two units will be provided at ration subsidy price. Five lakh rupees will be given in case of death while on duty and two lakh rupees in case of permanent disability.
