Electricity Generation Company of Bangladesh (EGCB) Limited has issued a notification for the recruitment of manpower. The notification has been issued to appoint lawyers to handle the case (in the high court and lower court) and provide legal advice. Interested candidates have to submit the application form by 18th August.
1. Position Name: Panel Lawyer (Category-A). The candidate should be enrolled as a lawyer in the Appellate Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court and should have at least 2 years experience in handling cases in that division.
2. Position Name: Panel Lawyer (Category-B). Candidates must be enrolled as a lawyer in the Appellate Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court and have at least 6 years of experience in handling cases in that division.
3. Position Name: Panel Lawyer (Category-C). Candidates should have 5 years experience in handling cases in the Judge’s Court with at least 4 years of experience as a lawyer in the High Court Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in law from a recognized university in Bangladesh. The panel of lawyers will handle various EGCB cases, provide legal advice on demand and receive honorarium (excluding VAT and tax) as per EGCB’s payment schedule.

The applicant has to apply on white paper. Attested copy of application name, father’s or husband’s name, mother’s name, permanent and current or chamber address and phone number, date of birth, details of educational qualifications, certificate of enrollment as a lawyer in Hon’ble High Court, Appellate Division and Judge’s Court, case management, citizenship certificate, or national identity card.
And 3 copies of newly taken passport size attested photo should be submitted along with the application form.
