In seven colleges Admission test in October

The admission test for the first-year undergraduate (honors) class in the 2020-21 academic year in seven government colleges affiliated with Dhaka University will start on October 1. Admission test for Science Unit will be held on Friday 1st October, Commerce Unit for Saturday 2nd October and Arts and Social Science Unit for Friday 7th October. Online admission application has started. The application will continue till August 20.

Last June 26, DU Vice-Chancellor. The decision was taken at a meeting held at Nawab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Building under the chairmanship of Akhtaruzzaman at the meeting on admission in the first-year undergraduate (honors)class of the seven affiliated government colleges in the 2020-21 academic year. This has been said in a circular of Dhaka University.

Eligibility of application and others:

Only those students who have passed the secondary or equivalent examination from 2015 to 2018 and the higher secondary or equivalent examination in 2020 who can fulfill the prescribed conditions will be eligible to apply for admission in seven colleges.

As a qualification, the GPA obtained for secondary or equivalent and higher secondary or equivalent examinations (including the fourth subject) for the science unit should be a minimum of 8, the sum of two GPAs in the commerce unit should be a minimum of 6.5, and a minimum of 8 in arts and social science unit.

Admission test number 120:

For the admission of the first year of graduation (honors) of the 2020-21 academic year in seven colleges, a total of 120 admission tests will be held this time. A student will be considered to have passed if he / she gets 40 percent, i.e. 48 marks. The application fee for this year’s admission test of seven colleges is 450 taka.
